Staff

Mr Ferris is our Headteacher. He gained his PGCE from Durham University in 2004. He has the following responsibilities in school:

1. Co-teaching Class 2
2. Whole-school management
3. Designated Safeguarding Lead
4. SENDCo
5. Educational Visits Coordinator
6. Minibus driver

Miss Little is currently working as our Early Years Lead and teaches Nursery, Reception and Year 1/2. She graduated from Northumbria University with a B.Ed in 2019. She is one of our Deputy Designated Safeguarding Leads and our Senior Mental Health Lead, as well as taking whole-school coordination responsibility for Mathematics.

Miss Hickie teaches the children in Class 2 (Year 2, 4 and 6). She also teaches some younger children for some lessons. Miss Hickie graduated with a BA in Early Primary Education from Northumbria University in 2018 and is one of our Deputy Designated Safeguarding Leads. Miss Hickie is also our whole-school Literacy Lead.

Leanne works in the school office as the administrator and also works with children in both classes to support teaching and learning.

Debbie works as our Early Years Teaching Assistant, helping children in Nursery and Reception with their learning. She also works with older children and supervises pupils at break and lunchtimes.

Bob keeps the school building safe and clean for us.
