Our Values

Kielder Primary School and Nursery is an incredibly special place to learn, laugh and play. Our aim is for all members of our school community to feel safe, happy and valued for their uniqueness.

Safeguarding underpins our work; to that end, we have a Designated Safeguarding Lead and two Deputy Designated Safeguarding Leads.

We have high standards and our expectations of staff and pupils are unapologetically high. We want everyone to achieve their full potential and be the best that they can be.

We strongly believe that education goes way beyond learning subjects in the classroom. We take our responsibilities very seriously in terms of promoting our children's physical, social, emotional, spiritual and mental wellbeing. Our children also benefit from a rich extracurricular offer with regular excursions and after-school clubs.

So, what does it mean do be a pupil at Kielder Primary School? The image below shows the core principles that guide the work we do in helping our pupils to grow, both personally and academically.
